  Character:  Yarnaby From Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Programs: PaintTool SAI 2 Tools: Wacom Intuos CTL-4100 Time: I don't remember lol     To be honest, when they first announced Yarnaby, I thought he was just a little spooky but when I saw his scenes in the game I fell in love with him. Also, his little cutout voice is just so cute. He's not very clever, but he is very adorable and charming. I love the rainbow yarn and when his face opens into a massive mouth which I tried to show it peeling open here with a bit of drool and some blood. The background I made up on the go since I wasn't initially sure what I wanted in the environment when I first drew the sketch but then I thought a chain fence would look cool and a lot of fog(unfortunately, not the red smoke, just background ambience!)   Character:  Dexter Swiftfoot Original Character   This drawing was made by Goobulous from UnVale as part of our art trade! I love how Dexter turned out in his style! You can view my part of the trade here: I had a lot of fun drawing his OC, Cassie, and trying out drawing another bouquet of flowers as well as practicing drawing lips. I think I've gotten to a point where if someone else's character has lips, I can comfortably draw them in my style and not worry so much about if it looks good or bad or if it matches the art!

  Character:  Anghel Alolan Vulpix OC from the series Pokemon Programs: PaintTool SAI 2 Tools: Wacom Intuos CTL-4100 Time: I don't remember lol   A digital painting of one of my Pokemon OCs, Anghel; she is probably one of my favorite species even though I haven't gotten an Alolan Vulpix in Scarlet/Violet yet! I tried to add a rainbow overlay to this drawing but to keep it really subtle so it isn't overbearing. I think the next time I draw a Pokemon, I am really going to try and keep the lineart thinner so when I do the final paintover render, the lines aren't so aggressive... This adopt was made as another base test for the standard P2U Fennec Fox base. I like how this one turned out, it reminds me of soda and pink is always a cute color. I love the details in the background, I think they match him pretty well! You can view my part of the trade here: She was a lot of fun to draw, though I am not used to drawing character's with a larger bust size!

I tried out a new way to do flower bouquets because I felt it would match her. I am still getting used to drawing straight hair on women, it's not something I commonly do as I prefer to add a bunch of random curls. I've also never drawn a character's make up before, but I think I made it work and I think I finally found a good way to draw lips on characters... I still probably won't add lipstick to most of my own characters but at least I will be able to draw them on other people's characters when they have lips or some type of lipstick

  Character:  Bella She is not from a show, she is a friend's family member Programs: PaintTool SAI 2 Tools: Wacom Intuos CTL-4100 Time: I don't remember lol   I drew this as a gift for my friends at work in honor of their dog, Bella; and as a thank you for helping my girlfriend and I out when we needed help moving our furniture into a U-Haul and into a new apartment. I've never drawn a Yorkie before and it was very time-consuming, but I wouldn't mind doing it again. Yorkshire Terriers have very interesting coats, her fur was a different color in every photo which is very unique but also makes it harder to get the colors more exact.
